What to Know About Your Concrete Project
How soon can I walk or drive on new concrete?
For walkways and patios, you can walk on your concrete after 48 hours. For driveways or vehicle traffic, we recommend waiting 7 full days to allow proper curing and strength. Timing ensures your slab holds up long-term.
Do you pour in the rain or winter?
Yes, we pour year-round, but not blindly. Each project has a Project Manage that monitors the forecast closely and reschedule if weather threatens the integrity of the pour. You’ll never be left wondering. If it’s not ideal, we wait. No shortcuts.
Will the finish match my old concrete?
New concrete will always cure slightly different in color and texture. While we do our best to blend styles, a perfect match isn’t guaranteed. For best results, consider replacing the full area or setting clear style expectations up front.
Can you add curves, steps, or borders?
We can add radius edges, steps, mow strips, planter borders, and more. These features affect price and timeline, so just let us know during the quote.
Will the Concrete crack?
All concrete cracks. The goal is to control where and how. We use compacted base, rebar, control joints, and smart layout to prevent random cracks and direct stress lines.
Done right, cracking won’t compromise durability or appearance.
How long does a typical concrete project take?
Most residential projects take 2–5 working days, depending on size and site conditions.
This includes tear-out, prep, pour, and cleanup. If the job requires custom forms, steps, or special finishes, we’ll let you know upfront. No guessing, no hidden delays.
What if my yard has a slope or tight access?
We work around it, but we’ll need to assess it first. Steep grades, limited access, or tight equipment zones may affect cost and timeline. That’s why we do a walk-through before quoting, to prevent surprises and make sure the job is done right.
Do you offer concrete repair or patching?
We specialize exclusively in full concrete removals and new installations. We do not offer minor crack repairs or patching. We believe the best way to ensure a durable, long-lasting driveway or patio is a fresh pour with a properly compacted sub-base and reinforced steel.
